North Strand Master Gardener Association
Welcome! Volunteers Making a Difference

It is the purpose of the North Strand Master Gardener Association to uphold the
Clemson Extension Horticultural standards and practices in the North Strand and
surrounding area in South Carolina; by promoting good horticultural practices and
expanding on the master gardener training programs of Clemson University.  

It shall be the purpose of the North Strand Master Gardener Association to deploy
horticultural programs in the community to support proper gardening techniques;
environmental preservation and beautification.

It shall be the purpose of the North Strand Master Gardener Association to provide
organized structure for master gardeners to obtain required volunteer hours; continued
learning through collaboration with horticultural experts, to leverage shared expertise
and learning, and the exchange of horticultural information and resources.

Plant Problem Clinics
are held from 10AM
until Noon each Friday
through the summer.   
They are held at
Myrtle's Market which

White Avenue and Oak
Street in Myrtle Beach.

which can grow up to 3
meters (10 feet) in diameter
and can easily support a
weight of 15 kilograms or 33
pounds.

how to make a rain barrel.  If you are
interested in making a rain barrel for
yourself, Ben will have the materials
there for you and you can do it
together.  Your cost will be $40.00.
